" Only Hat I Wear "
I never was fond of hats, especially the 6 panel types with a metal button on top and excessive seams. I had been looking at 5 panel camper style hats recently as my hair is not getting thicker with age and the sun is intense at high altitude. Now that I am older and live out west in the Rockies, having a good hat is a must. Hats are the only thing that keep you from sneezing every time the sunlight hits you when walking outside. Additionally, I can now enjoy looking on the horizon without squinting. The black underside really does help reduce glare and eye strain. I only wish it were the cotton linen blend. Excellent hat and the first hat I have worn regularly. I would have gotten the Cotton Linen 5 panel but the brim was longer. I was concerned that brim might knock into stuff and catch too much wind.

Great hat, fits well, and appears to be fairly durable. I will say though, my one frustration is that the hat is a darker brown in person and has less tan/orange in it. Also, the strap has a couple of extra things to hold it in place which are nice.

This is hands-down my favorite hat. It’s so hard to find a good five panel that truly is high sitting and low profile. This is perfect on my head and fits how true five panel should. Cool brown color and the brim underside is a soft black velvet fabric. I truly wish you come out with more designs of the same fitting hat.
