The Midnight Sun
In the long winter months, Iceland experiences one of the worlds greatest natural phenomena, the Northern Lights. The summer months bring another spectacle that is equally as impressive:
The Midnight Sun.
"Iceland has such a magical energy, it vibrates at a different frequency" Jennifer Sobol
In Iceland, the midnight sun is visible starting in late May to early August. During these summer months, the sun is visible at local midnight and continues throughout the early morning hours.
"It's a strange feeling, hiking a trail or visiting a waterfall at 11pm knowing you still have hours of daylight left." James Sobol
12WT product developer, James Sobol and his wife Jennifer recently travelled to Iceland to put our sun protection to the test with 24 hours of daylight.
